Emergency relief

Emergency disaster relief

After natural disasters such as hurricanes, tsunamis or earthquakes the aptitude of emergency services to intervene quickly is of paramount importance for local populations.

The initial steps of this response is assessing the damage and rebuilding vital infrastructures such as roads, transportation hubs, electricity and utilities which will allow the transportation of medical supplies and help.

Damage assessment

Restoring infrastructures

Locating survivors

Mapping the damaged area quickly and precisely is a very complex task. In remote areas, airplanes cannot be braught in until airports have been repaired. Satellites are not always available and cannot operate if there are clouds masking the ground.

The longer it takes to be able to get up-to-date imagery on the global situation, the more lifes are at risk.

Our Solution

Long-Range UAV System

The AVEM system is capable of operating anywhere in the world. With it’s minimal footprint it can easily be transported and setup in remote locations, even when no supporting infrastructures are available.

Its large area mapping capabilities make it capable of providing accurate maps of large areas in a matter of hours.

Orthoimagery software

The pictures taken by the AVEM can quickly be processed inside photogrammetry software to generate accurate and up-to-date maps of the area and assist in the relief effort.

For the purposes of locating isolated persons, a thermal camera can be taken on-board to help with the search & rescue process.
